Meet the Hosts! Curtis
Earth
I grew up hooked on game shows. Chuck Barris was my idol and as an
impressionable pre-teen in the late 70's, Gene Rayburn, Peter Marshall
and Richard Dawson were my rockstars! In 1993 I decided not to wait
anymore for Hollywood to come calling, and much like a child building
his own lemonade stand, I built a podium and started my own game show.

Mike Horn
I was playing Curtis' trivia shows in Lancaster in the late '90s as
part of the legendary Nothing But Babaganoosh team when he asked if
I could help him re-design his website. I later became his ghostwriter
for an all-Simpsons trivia show, which I took over with co-host Chris
McClure in 2002. That led to shows at Bube's Brewery in Mount Joy,
the Lititz VFW and Cafe Chuckles (until it closed in Sept. of 2010)
in Lancaster, PA.
During the day I'm a book preservationist and visual resources assistant
at the library of F&M College. I design and maintain many other
sites in addition to earthtrivia.com. I'm a cartoonist and graphic
designer
and also
do decorative painting and interior murals. (You can see my work at
hornographics.com).

Frady
A native of North Carolina, I've worked in the entertainment industry for over
twenty years professionally. From film and television to broadway national
tours, to hosting live Super Bowl events my career has covered the gamut. I've
always had a particular fondness for comedy and have pursued it regularly.
Locally I'm performing with the SAK comedy lab. I really enjoy one-on-one live
interaction with an audience which makes working with Earth Trivia very exciting
for me. When you come see my shows hopefully that will be quite obvious. Look
forward to seeing you there.
Rick
Jorgensen A former Giraffe Whisperer/Jazzercise instructor, Rick moved to Orlando
in the mid '90s to pursue a career in music. He has been performing
extensively throughout the Central Florida area for over ten years,
and his experience with live performance makes him a perfect fit for
hosting Earth Trivia. In his spare time he enjoys underwater basket-weaving
and night-putting.
John Clementson
I’m a native to Central Florida, a volunteer Little
League Umpire and a Florida State Seminole Fan.
I have owned my mobile Disc Jockey business since 1983, It’s
called “About Town Sounds”. Just like hosting trivia
it’s a fun job. I stay involved in the community and
keep up with Formula 1 Racing. I wish I could have met Ayrton
Senna. I met Curtis at my first Earth Trivia show as a player
in 2005 and I became a regular player soon after. I’m
grateful to be a Host of Earth Trivia “bringing Trivia
to the People”. I hope to see you at one of my shows
soon. Get the “Smokin’ Hot Word” by becoming
a fan of the page “earth
trivia with John” on Facebook;
it’s worth 3 extra points added to your final round.
Chelsea
Zedar
Originally from Atlanta, GA I have dreamed about, participated
in, and been inspired by the Entertainment
Industry as a whole my entire life. I moved to Orlando in 2000
and pursued my aspirations of becoming
a Rollins College Graduate. I obtained a degree and graduated
Cum Laude in Organizational
Communications and snagged a spot on the Deans List, an Exemplary
Service Award and was a member
of Lambda Pi Eta, The National Communications Honor Society.
I was awarded the title of Miss Orlando
USA in 2006 and was given the honor to represent our beautiful
city for a year. Ahhh…my claim to fame!
Humorously, it has followed me over the years and I seem to
get more recognition from friends and family
for it now than I ever did during my reign. I have emceed various
competitions over the years, am very
involved in marketing for Conventions and tradeshows, been
in National Television commercials, and held
a spot as “Miss February” in Leading Lady Magazine.
I worked for Transcontinental Records in the music
industry for many years for Lou Pearlman, and worked with N’Sync,
Backstreet Boys, O’Town, and Brooke
Hogan, among many others.
I currently host trivia shows at different venues in the Orlando
area and take pride in being a Substitute
Teacher during the day for Orange County Public Schools. I
first attended a Curtis Earth trivia show in 2005
and was hooked! I am excited to join the Earth Trivia Family
and look forward to seeing you at one of my
shows!
Xio
Born in Philly, raised here in Florida, I've
always loved the entertainment biz. As a little girl I wanted
to be an actress and during my childhood took part in many
small, community theater productions. While that never panned
out, I decided to take a different approach and attended the
University of Florida where I graduated with a degree in Television
and Radio Broadcasting. I worked in DC shortly thereafter as
an Associate Producer for NHK (think of it as the BBC of the
Asian region) where I got the great opportunity of covering
White House press conferences and Pentagon meetings as well
as interviewing former President Clinton and George
Clooney, among other things. I miss the entertaining aspect
of my life, which is why I'm taking this next step and have
become part of the Curtis Earth family, where i can bring the
gift of trivia to the people:-)
I love talking, so you'll love me as your trivia host! I'm very fortunate to
call Curtis Earth Trivia home and look forward to meeting you all at one of my
shows.
DJ Di
Many of you know DJ Di’s karaoke prowess. If you’ve
ever done it, you’ve probably done it with her (wait,
that came out wrong). But did you know she is a Trivia Mistress
too?
That’s
right, she teamed up with The Master (you know who) a few years
ago and found another fun way to entertain Central Florida!
DJ Di’s forte is music, of course, so she found a way
to infuse that vast music knowledge of hers into her Earth
Trivia shows. She takes each question provided by Curtis and
matches it to a song! So while you’re thinking, you may
find a clue in the music she has selected! Oh, but wait…be
warned, sometimes she’s a little devil and may play
a song that may lead you astray! You will never know! Sometimes
the music is just a little added fun, too! The more you play
her game the more you will get to know how her twisted brain
works!
DJ Di loves and is grateful for her partnership with Earth
Trivia (she, too, had dreams of being a game show host) and
it shows! So come see AND hear for yourself! Find her on Facebook or twitter for
chance at bonus! Visit www.djdi.com for
links.
Damion
Wolfe
Indie performing songwriter Damion Wolfe has been part
of the musical
side of the Earth Trivia family for many years. Now, in addition
to his live performances, he is hosting three trivia shows
in the D.C. area. Find out more about Damion's music ventures
at www.damionwolfe.com,
iTunes, Amazon, Emusic and any other of your favorite online
music stores.
