Meet the Hosts!
Mike
Horn
Mike began his trivia career in the last millenium when his friend from
high-school, John Brabson, invited him to join the legendary Brablock
team. This led to the formation of the equally mythic Nothing but Babaganoosh
team, that stalked Curtis at his various venues for several years. In
an effort to distract Mike and keep him preoccupied, Curtis offered
him the job of creating and tending to this here very website that you
are reading. Not knowing the difference between Preparation H and HTML
at the time, Mike eagerly said yes and the site was born.
Then, in the fall of 2001, visions of donuts danced in Curtis' head
as he created the all-Simpsons trivia show at Zoetropolis. The Earthman's
noggin, however, was so crammed with regular trivia that it had no
room for Springfieldian minutiae. Mike was once again called in to
help out,
and became the official question writer. Mike, along with co-host Chris
McClure, inherited the show when Curtis had to flee Pennsylvania (for
"personal reasons.") Later on, Mike inherited shows
at Bubes, the Lititz VFW and Cafe Chuckles.
In his other lives, Mike is a book preservationist at a local Friendly
and Munificent college; paints murals and does decorative painting,
which you can view at his website Hornographics.com;
has gone on to create other websites (for pix, see the aforementioned
hornographics site); attempts to keep Curtis on an even keel (although
it is much more difficult now that he is so far away); and has a strange
fondness for referring to himself in the third person.
